President-elect Barack Obama assured Senate Democrats that he would impose greater conditions over the second installment of the $700 billion economic fund in a Tuesday meeting on Capitol Hill. Obama met with Senate Democrats on Tuesday to shore up support for releasing the next $350 billion. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) plans a vote as early as Thursday, leaving little time to attach many specific conditions to the money...
